Following lengthy discussions we are pleased to set out our plans for a successful completion to this year’s Eley Postal Competition. The consequences of Covid-19 have resulted in an extensive reassessment as we would normally be at the Finals stage by now.  Our priority is to continue and complete the Competition in an appropriate format so with that in mind here are the changes we would like to notify you. We would like to advise all shooters the “shoot by date” has been further extended until late Summer, the exact details of which will be published by Friday 3 July. In doing so we are taking into account the majority of clubs and ranges are still closed and therefore wish to relieve you of any individual pressure to meet a deadline of this weekend. Following our statement of 4 May we are finalising a number of options for members, member clubs and other shooters who have already paid entry fees. Following the Prime Minister’s Statement yesterday (23 June 2020) we would like to confirm our latest guidance concerning the reopening of clubs.  While recognising the huge efforts you are making to ensure you are Covid-19 Secure we have to advise our position remains unchanged from our last Guidance Notes published on 1 June 2020.
